Paint Industry

We develop paint testing equipment for various suppliers in the paint industry. This includes a range of tools used to measure, for example, the hardness of paint under controlled conditions.
For instance, we developed an instrument that drops a weight onto a target coated with paint. When the weight hits the target, the impact may affect the paint in a number of possible ways: it can break, tear, or be dented. The height from which the weight is dropped can be adjusted, allowing researchers to collect data for a range of different situations. Our equipment provides important information paint suppliers need to know about their products. We also develop equipment to measure the resistance to abrasion and the elasticity of paint.
